House & Petsitting
Seasoned Sitter to Care for Your Home & PetsHouse sitting is truly an invaluable experience, not only to see the world, but to develop long-lasting friendships with homeowners, pets, and community members alike, which is why I prefer longer-term house sits (1+ month) to allow for a more immersive and authentic experience of the local area and customs while offering companionship to your pets.

This was my first experience with Trusted House Sitters and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than that I had with Erica. Erica showed excellent communication from the very start when we met online to discuss her stay.
This gave me the confidence to go with her as a pet sitter to stay with my cats. And indeed the experience was a very positive one. Erica made sure to inquire on the cats’ and house requirements in great detail. She also made sure to build a connection with the cats and attend to their specific requirements, including their evening strolls outdoors :-). I received frequent photo updates of such moments, which was a heartwarming reassurance during my time away. One of my cats also has some medical requirements and also some behavioural issues. Erica was also very patient with this situation and very resourceful with solutions. I would recommend Erica 100%, and would have her back anytime!
We recently had Erica house sit and care for our best pup, Solo, while we were out of state for several days. This was our first time leaving our home and pup with someone and she did a FANTASTIC job!
From the start, Erica asked great questions to understand our needs and respected every part of our home. She took Solo on hikes to keep him active and even added gas to our car out of the goodness of her heart. When we returned, our home was spotless and Solo was incredibly happy + well-cared for. Erica truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She is reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. We can’t recommend her enough!
This was Erica’s third holiday sit for our three pups and two chickens.
It is such a blessing to have her stay in our home during the holidays and take care of our animals, plants, and home. Erica is so organized with planning for the sit in advance. She’s also very clean and self-sufficient; I didn’t worry once during the almost two-week trip. One of our pups is now a senior and needs help going up and down the stairs. Erica took on this challenge without hesitation. We really hope Erica continues to visit each year as a reliable and trustworthy sitter.
